I picked up an electric scooter/moped/ebike as an indoor winter project. I do not know much about them, but have some experience with electric RC planes. and gas motorcycles. My first stumbling block is that there are no identifying labels or marks, so I don't know what it is. Suggestions for what forum to post pics on would help. We are in the Peterborough Ontario area.

Welcome. If you respond to this thread look just below and to the left of where you are writing. The green button says 'Attach files.' Click on that to include photos. Can you talk to the person that you purchased it from? Do they have the owner's manual and documentation. 'No identifying marks' could leave you holding the bag if questioned by the Mounties.

Thanks for the tip. Previous owner is 6ft under and does not want to be disturbed. No manuals. Cant read info on controller. Will try pics and cross my fingers LOL.

The second photo has a silver colored box with wires. That is the controller. If you flip it over it will show a lot of good information. These were around about ten-years ago, generic Chinese, and used lead acid batteries.

I get it about asking the former owner.
