I am an older, (OK, old), roadie/mountain biker that said that he would never have any interest in an ebike, (then I rode one). I won’t give up my road bike yet, but I have to admit that I was wrong and that my new Yamaha Cross Core is a lot of fun and I can ride with my wife again, (we can use different levels of assistance and stay with each other). We live on the West side of New Hampshire, about 25 miles South of Hanover, (hilly country). The Cross Core seemed to be a great bike to make my own, so I swapped the seat for a Fizik Aliante, the seat post for a Cane Creek Carbon eesilk Gravel Post, the tires for 40mm Maxxis Receptors, Spank Oozy Reboot for the pedals, the bars are Salsa Deluxe Bend with 17 degrees of sweep, added inner bar ends (they used to be regular Specialized Carbon bar ends), changed the group set to Tiagra with an 11-32, the brakes to TRP Spyre two piston mechanical and brake cables to Jagwire Pro Compressionless. I also share my Garmin 830 and Varia Radar back and forth with my road bike. It may seem like a lot of changes, but it still came out cheaper than the Wabash that I was considering and it’s exactly as I want it to be, (the Wabash shares the same frame, wheels and motor and is $1100.00 more, and I would have still changed the saddle, seatpost and tires). Anyway, I’m happy to be here and hope to ride with some of you in the future.

My name is actually George, Django was my beloved Corgi and he was named for Django Reinhardt.

It's amazing how ebikes make riding a lot of fun for those of us that have ridden traditional bikes our entire life. Great to have you on the forum.
