Handlebars: Back sweep angle?

Best thing is to not alter your handle bar from factory settings You can make adjustments on angle brake lever and shifter. To fit you

Sorry, were you answering me? I didn't quote anyone, I just clicked on reply. Are you telling me not to change out a handlebar which doesn't have enough sweep for my arthritic hands when the entire discussion is about that? The bike shop mechanic didn't say anything about changing the angle of the shifter and there was not room to move it. I don't understand why you are telling me these things which don't answer my questions.

Not necessary to remove it, although you can delete a post if you wish.
I would just copy and paste it in another forum ... I suggest general ebike discussion( which has high readership) or the specific brand "Gazelle " or whatever for a brand specific reply ... or both places if needed . I can't help you other than bumping your question. There are members on here who probably know, but wouldn't read the parts and accessories subforum.

Thank you for your help. I did just finish writing a more detailed post on what I'm looking for and need on the "buying advice" forum, thinking that is where I should really start. I'm randomly replying to new posts.
I'm bored. I can't ride my bike my ribs are injured getting in and out of a vehicle is painful.
Carry-on anyway. Interesting thread lots of members install riser on steering tube.
To get back sweep angle.

So sorry to hear about your injuries. Ribs can really hurt; I broke 9 of mine last June getting run off the road by a truck. Thankfully, they heal. Take care.
