Perfect? No. The paint is, well...suboptimal. There was a chip on the seatstay from the factory, and it definitely seems to flake off easily. The Monkeylink fittings are kind of a pain, especially as I don't intend to use them and removing them entails pulling the internal wiring. And the stock dropper post wasn't great, very stiff lever and slow/stiff to push down. Those got replaced pretty early on, along with the addition of the Fox Factory 38 fork. Nothing wrong with the OEM fork, but I had the 38 already so it went on before I even rode the bike.
On the plus side, my dealer (Fly Rides San Diego) has been fantastic with dealing with the minor issues I've had, and the bike has proven to be a beast on the trails. I'm a big guy, and the Bulls is significantly stiffer and more planted than the Motobecane it replaced. Parts spec is very good for the price, and the big battery is appreciated for long rides. It's a bit front-end heavy, so wheelies and such are a bit of a task. But it tracks downhill very well and bites into corners with sure-footedness.
I'll be adding the BMZ Connect-C Bluetooth module soon, as I'd like to adjust the various motor power settings and have a bit more insight as to what is going on electronically as I ride. That's kind of a pricey upgrade ($210) considering Shimano-equipped eBikes have that functionality out of the box and it was something I used often on the Motobecane.
