Giant’s Global Liv site shows two new Ride Control Units that can be combined with a display. Cannot seem to find in the US.
Has anyone has any experience with this? 🚴‍♀️

Anna, I spent roughly US$250 for the RideControl EVO (to get rid of the RC One). I don't regret it :)
Yet, it would be cool for you to have a newer display though. At least now you will know how fast you're riding! Still, it would be just enough to run Strava on your phone... :D

Good advice! I live quite far from any capable Giant store so being without my chameleon ebike and driving 3 hours or more one way puts my “knickers in a knot” just thinking about it. 😬. I’ll take your advice and try Strava for now. Thank you! 🚴‍♀️ **If the new Dash becomes available in the States, I will make the drive. I do have Ol’ Blue Valle to ride. Good to have at least two ebikes! 😉

I think this is what they are talking about. Available in Canada on the Giant site and not a bad price, especially if you convert back to USD. Specs say it connects wirelessly. If they won’t ship to the US you could see if your LBS could order it for you. https://www.liv-cycling.com/ca/ridedash-plus-antplus-lev-computer.

FEATURES

  • Option to use an additional display
  • Shows LEV (light electric vehicles) related information including assist level, battery capacity and remaining range, while displaying standard cycling data such as speed, trip time and trip distance
  • Mounts easily and wirelessly on your bike
  • Easy to set up and use
  • Compatible with Giant Smart Assist
  • Compatible with 2020+ Giant, Liv and Momentum e-bikes (RideControl One ANT +)
