Ok doing that I just toss all the open runs. Since they need to cross.

Maybe. Couldn't you have them cross in front of the handlebars/headset before the cable stop and then run them parallel on the downtube with the front shifter housing on the outside?

Ya that works too. I want to see if the adjusters will me me using housing on both sides that will make it more solid. Look kind of cool
