First eBike!

Just took delivery on my first eBike - a white Rad Mini Step-Thru. I chose the step-thru because it's easier to get on an off of with my 67 year old arthritic hips. So far, I've only taken a short test ride to experience the pedal assist levels, throttle etc. Most of my riding will be on paved bike paths and suburban/rural paved roads. Hoping to get out in the fresh air often to get exercise now that the warmer weather is arriving around here. I figure that it's a good way to maintain social-distancing while still getting some much needed exercise during these trying times.

Does anyone have any advice on mirrors and/or other accessories to make the ride as comfortable and safe as possible?

Thanks!
Bert

Welcome aboard, Bert! Congratulations!
If you search the forum threads here for "mirror" -- you'll find abundant commentary on many styles and choices available.
Enjoy the ride!

Welcome from another senior newbie. My advice...get a really good helmet...because %#^& happens. I did a lot of looking at Rad bikes, but my balance is not what it used to be (so kindly pointed out by my better half), so I opted for an Electric Trike Fat Delta, which I have outfitted with all the bells and whistles.

Ride safe, stay safe.

Congrats!

Congrats on your rad mini purchase. I just got my 1st ebike as well and was considering the mini as well. I wound up getting a 26inch fat tire bike and im already starting to regret my decision. This thing is HUGE!! Im 5' 11" and can barely stand over the bar. I just wish I could have test rode some bikes but not many bike shops near me.
