FHP ask's "How many CC's is that motor"..

Hey everybody long time cyclist .names joe....I. have 2 cheep hub drives (ancheer) bikes and a collection of bottle batteries...
so the other day had some time to kill along highway 60 in Brandon Florida ,,,heavy traffic ..and I'm ridding on side walk as a guy in a late model lexus cuts me off in an effort to get out of traffic..
I put my foot into the front quarter panel before I could stop, the car had very heavy damaged.
I was shaken but ok. the guy driving the car was not the owner and called Florida Highway patrol. FHP showed up and started a crash report ,,,when he was told my bicycle had a motor... he asked how many CC's (cubic centimeters) my engine was I said zero and followed up with 250 watts and that it was a bicycle.. The officer then proceeded to take down the serial numbers on the bottle battery, even after I pointed out the serial numbers on the frame.....anyway I thought it was funny "how many cc's is that ebike?)

so my battery tail...I use 36 volt bottle batteries when I ordered 2 from ebay, 190$ each they sent me 10..so I added a rear rack , pannier bags and now carry 3 or 5-8 batteries x 10 amp @ 36volt ..this has increased the weight of the bike as well as it's range....

anyway...I have a 360 camera I mounted on a black DOT motorcycle helmet,,,face shield opt. with a 12000 watt led light and 2 more lights mounted on bars .the 5.4 volt led string is programmable and I have a 50 more to add to it someday (powered by a arduino nano micro computer) and usb battery packs..

the saddle bags are not really strong enough to hold weight of 2 per side.I am looking 4 stronger...little larger/not too expensive.

the people in cars you meet on the road.. many think the own it ..and they will let you know..I found they looked dumb on video and that my trying to tell them "I had rights too"was a waist of my time"
maybe I'll start a video collection...
you're not even safe on the sidewalk sometimes...

Thats a lot of batteries to carry. I use to carry just one 605 wh spare, now i use an 8amp charger.

In 20minutes about 20-22% charge added. I find it better then carrying a spare. I always need to stop for whatever reasons and outlets are in abundance if you know where and how to look/ask.

normally the 3 (wired up) is plenty to putt around 2 -3 days... 20-30- miles with no power/speed drop..one on frame /one in each of the 2 saddle bags.It's nice not to have to push the batteries...running them down below half way is suppose to be harder on them i believe... they are 18650 lipo cellsX40 per bottle & they take a long time to charge..I have 2 different chargers .I think one charges @ 85 watts and one at 65 watts......or so ...so the 10 they sent me all had usb ports for 5.4 volts and not a single one of them works. I think they are just the jacks with no buck converter...(step down) anyway I was not saying a thing ... I can deal with 10 when only paid for 2. thank you...
