I went to pedego and tried a few of the ebikes great store. I am 5 8 125 with short arms and legs so after seat adjustment , handle bars the element felt right. I got the e mail for the juiced bikes "rip rider" which will come out in March so the element I could have faster with that great 4 year bike and 3 yr battery plan. I am not in a hurry but with supply chain issues i do wonder? My plan of use is really as an emergency vehicle I put in my cargo basket on my car as I live in Oracle AZ and we have one auto mechanic for 4000 plus people. The nearest mechanic and market is 12 miles one way down the grade and of course back up its not really steep but gradual. No mail delivery to my front door so 5 miles round trip. Looking for any useful info as I could add back basket and cargo rack and keep the purchase of rip rider under 2000 it's the class 3 I want, or pay more 2500 out the door at pedego with all the longer term back up and store front ease. Cheers!

Welcome to the site and electric bike shopping.
I've found cargo in rear baskets on cruisers & MTBs with vertical posture lead to instability of the front wheel. Weight on the back lifts the front. On a Diamondback MTB I was knocked sideways by a dog, spilling groceries all over Ste Hwy 3. It is best to load the cargo in a front basket, or buy a stretch frame cargo bike. My Yuba bodaboda is pictured left. I carry up to 80 lb groceries or ag supplies. At your size a 24" wheel blix packa would fit. M2s & magnum makes 26" cargo models. A serious 28 mph cargo model from giant is the momentum www.electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/giant-cargo-e-bike-with-28mph-motor.44240/ Pedego stretch is an option but rather pricey. Some would recommend a 20" wheel model as tern HSD but I find shock of the tiny wheels a problem in potholes. A bike that is short enough to fit on bus racks and only 58 lb but has a front shelf you don't steer is the cero one https://electricbikereview.com/cero/one/
Class 3 speeds could work over a 24 mile round trip but they chew up the battery really fast.
