EBay no longer allowing eBike sales...

UK EBay is no longer allowing private sales of ebikes and batteries. This seems to be down to safety regulations, with sales now requiring CE/UL listing. EBay won't allow them, even if the bike/battery meets regulations. Can the rest of the western world be far behind? UL requirements are becoming mandatory in many places in the US. It does make one wonder, given the many items a person can purchase from EBay that do not meet legal safety requirements. Time will tell, but it seems inevitable.

No biggie. I’m sure people will just sell through a marketplace of Craigslist. There is more than one way to do everything.

It used to be "used car salesman" was a derogatory term. Now it appears "used e-bike salesman" may get the rap as well.
