Holy cow, that's a beautiful bike! (Link Removed - No Longer Exists) It has the same look as the Easy Motion bikes I like. $3100 (approx) Canadian is doable, too. How much was the shipping? Some of the Haibike powered Yamaha E-bikes have multiple chainrings. It's the case of the Trekking Sduro 6.0 which I purchased, and which should be shipped in a couple of weeks.
Pedego Ridge Rider is a 21 speed. Bought at CityCycles in Surrey for $2900.00. Free shipping at the time. Also that's in Canadian funds.
Yes I have read the bad review too. I highly recommend the ridge rider. Top quality parts on it. I also was going to buy that bike but glad I didn't.I checked it out and also watched Court's review. For Pedego, I'm surprised. It's very nice, indeed. It's a few dollars more where I am, but not a lot. I'm still liking the Easy Motion EVO CROSS, but the bad reviews make me wary of it, even though I could get a 2016 for $3000 plus tax.
EDIT: It's 2 & 10, 20 speed.

Are you in CanadaA number of things: I watched the Pedego video on the Ridge Rider and I'm impressed. HELLO FUN! However, I don't know what site I was looking at earlier, but the Canada site has it listed for between $4000 & $4500 CAD.
Secondly, are you implying that the EVO CITY doesn't have the problems of the CROSS? Motostrano being in the U.S. means $1800 is $2250 CAD plus duty and shipping. Rad, for instance wants $400 US ($500 CAD) for shipping.
I thank you very much for the help and info.

CityCycles in Surrey have the ridge rider and give usually 15 to 20% discount.Worse! I live in Quebec!
well I wish you luck in your search. Let me know how you make out. Be careful about buying the bh cross. I know they have a lot of issues.I checked out CityCycles. The 20% discount only applies to a limited number of bicycles. The discount applies to the 'CROSS', but I can get it cheaper at a store that's 120 miles away as opposed to CityCycles which is 3000 miles away. The RIDGE goes for between $4000 and $4500. Some of the bikes I saw on the site, I can get cheaper in Montreal and as the crow flies, that's about 25 miles away.
The pedego ridge rider has throttle on demand no matter which level of assist your on except level 0. It also can be adjusted to go to 25 mph from your display panel. It has tourque and cadence mode too. In level 6 it's throttle mode only. Hope that helps. Thanks for the well wish. I've watched so many reviews and read up on just about every e bike there is; I'm at information overload, right now. I know that I want a decent range of gears, brakes that kill the motor and a throttle that can go to full power no matter what the assistance level is. I know there are e bikes that have those things, but I don't remember if one bike has all of them. I' going to have to review everything again and write stuff down.
I also love the rear hub motor cause you don't wear out your chain and sprockets as appossed to a mid drive motor. The pedego ridge rider has throttle on demand no matter which level of assist your on except level 0.
