i purchased a pex-mor 26 inch ebike 48 v it has a kd21c lcd display ,the throttle does not work unless the display unit is in settings mode does anyone know how to fix this problem? thank you in advance

If the bike is in warranty, take it back to the dealer. Or call the phone number.
Getting any repair part to match anything else is a ****shoot. I've been rolling sevens recently. There are 2 varieties of brake switch, 3 varieties of brake connector, and displays there are hundreds or thousands of different ones. Almost every software revision obsoletes everything previous. There are 2 or 3 varieties of throttle connector and also PAS connectors. Motors come with 2 or 3 connector types, a bit easier.
A new geared hub motor kit from ebikeling is ~$379 +tax +freight. WIth battery $679. That includes one of everything. It all will match. He is out of 26" rear today but check again in a week or three. He has 26" front today. I like my front hub motor, but I have significant weight on my front tire. Don't buy a front hub motor if you climb unpaved hills or mountains frequently. Front are okay on pavement & gravel, but not on slick ice, wet steel, wet rock, or muddy or wet wood bridges. Use torque arm. Front hub motors are not for aluminum, suspension, or carbon front forks.

ok thank you for answering

I see you bought the ever famous pex-mor fat bike on Amazon for $854. EIther you're doing something wrong or the display is off kilter. Is there an instruction manual, perhaps online? There's some plausible reasons. Often, throttle is disabled unless you're in a pedal assist mode. This is for safety. The fact that it works in Settings says the throttle functions,

Some displays, and I've seen this on other displays, will disable throttle because the wromg settings were chosen. Then pedal assist may be disabled by accident too.

Well, it's a new bike and they owe you some tech help.

If there's nothing in the settings, than start by posting a question on the vendor's question area. Also send him an email.

You can play hardball and post a 1 star review if you contact the seller via amazon's menu, and get no answer. I'm kind of expecting Mr. Pex-Mor to ignore you, but persist.
