E bike goes in to wrench mode on skreen

I have e bike Currie electo drive screen and hub drive moter. Won’t go intil you drive 200 yards. Then a wrench comes on the screen it goes then but restricts it self to 15 miles per hour. Battery charges all up. How do I fix this.
