I was looking at the Benno Ejoy, but it appears none of the Benno bikes have a throttle? I use the throttle a lot for starting from a standstill.

Benno doesn't do throttle. They get me up steep hills just fine without though. Torque vs cadence sensors make a big difference.

Bikes with a torque sensor don’t really need a throttle for starting from a standstill. But I agree that it’s useful for bikes with a not-as-responsive cadence sensor.

Yeah when I'min our small town at a traffic stop I have no problem getting going quickly.
