Just smoked a Vado without makeup.
Thank you for your reply, you have directed me to a very good study route. With the above replies, I feel that I have the opportunity to test ride a few bikes offline at a store before I go any further.Search the forum for the long thread/poll we had several months ago on ebikes for seniors. Bottom line: Too diverse a rider population to answer the question on age alone.
IMO, the ideal way for anyone to select an ebike — senior or otherwise — is to do some prelimiary internet research on EBR and elsewhere, test ride a few promising candidates, refine criteria from there, test more bikes, and come back to the forum with specific questions.
Thanks, that corrects some of my misconceptions.I’m in a different age group than Jeremy, but I’d like to echo his opinion that the individual must select a bike based on their needs and fitment. For example, I tested a few e-bikes in 3 different frame types. That helped me narrow it down. Then I looked at frame dimensions to see what size frame would best fit me. I then looked to see what bikes people my size went with. I watched NUMEROUS reviews of bikes on my short list. It was a process that took a few months.
There is no “bike for 50+” or “bike for 30+”.
To get back on topic, if you want lights and make up, you should be able to have that. Make the bike yours and be proud of it. I have the same thought on pretty much anything else I purchase. Brand new PlayStation Portable, I hacked it as soon as I got home. The store I bought it from was shocked that I didn’t want to buy an extended warranty on that one. It was about $200, at the time. Most warranties are a waste anyhow, but that is yet another topic for a different day.
WTF mph..
I had to look that up,..

I like the forward time travel definition.
It's cool to wake up and realize that you've been transported into the future somehow and you can't remember the trip.
Time essentially stops.
I'm gunna smoking two more Vados and stick blue tape on my bike.
It's not fucking easy taping the stupid blue reflective tape on my rims.
I gave up man.
I have to pay professionals I think to make it perfect circle.
Okay I'll try it , I pressure washed the bike and air dry it..
I have to try wetting it when applying sticker
If I were an ebike manufacturer, I would definitely choose to give away colored lights to my customers, provide the materials, and hand over the fun of DIY to my customers! On my main bike, I DO have Monkey Lights. While there's all kinds of funky patterns, I stick with this, and only really use them when city riding at night.
Given how much constant construction leads to congestion in Toronto, something to catch the eye is not just about being pretty, and I like the directional chevrons..

It looks very unfriendly to riding.Everybody.
It's Aloha Friday no work till Monday.
Freaking US Navy have plenty military exercise going on, preventing me from riding to my favorite places. Military Police all over the fucking place, wanting to see my Identification.
I do have some blue reflected tape.

This should get those e-bike merchants to provide ideas, free materials, and installation tutorials. Maybe it's a business opportunity for them.No I give up that fucking thang too sticky you apply that s*it and it will not come off easily even with denatured alcohol.
