Just a simple DIY hack.
I didn't have a good place to clip my red flashing LED light so I looked at my bike helmet and realized that would be a good place to clip it.

I cut a small strip of a stretchy thick fabric fastener I had and superglued each end halfway around the center pylon of the helmet in back. A piece of velcro would work, though I would advise gluing it just as I did.
My LED light is a simple clip-on, battery powered light. I got the light free from somewhere a couple years ago. And that was a quick hack! Now my light can be easily seen by people in cars behind me.
