Display maintenance.
I have a (C2?) Das Kit display on my Moskow EV bike.
I have taken it off every fall to keep the display inside the house w/48v battery while the frame stays out in the only place I can store it... it gets -30C for days on end routinely.
Do I have to risk breaking the mounting frame of the display doing this every year, as it stresses the plastic taking off/putting on, or can it be left on the bike in such conditions?
Has anyone ruined LCD anything, or this display, by doing so?
I vaguely recall ruining an LCD on something YEARS ago by letting it get frozen.. the frames that go dark where the LCD segments activate, winds up leaking outside the outlines, and pool together black whether power runs thru display or not. Is this display immune from such?
