What did you make the body out of?

I used 1/4" Luanne plywood that I fiberglassed. It is pretty strong and rigid. I might make one using 1/8th inch doorskin.

I made four octagonal "bulkheads" that I jigsawed out of 3/4" plywood. Two that were the size of the largest circumference and then two that were half that size. I then cut the insides out of those which left me with four relatively lightweight frames. Just being thick plywood without any joints makes them strong. The two large ones are at the fore and aft of the cockpit and the two smaller ones are halfway down between those and the ends of the sidecar. I don't know if any of that makes sense.

The tank is a satin pearl wrap. Fenders to follow
