Correcting odometer vs gps distance travelled

I have a Juggernaut Classic HD, with the"SuperFat" (4.8 inch) tires. Initially there was a 10% difference between the odometer and my GPS. I spent much of yesterday's ride adjusting the wheel size in the DPC-14 until the distance traveled delta could be reduced. Setting the wheel size to 30 (!) seemed to be best.

Be aware that there can be a significant error in distance measured by a consumer grade handheld GPS or smartphone app. When doing a comparison with such a device, do it in a wide open area with a clear view of the sky. The more satellites your GPS can "see", the better the accuracy. The best way to make a distance comparison is to use an accurately measured course.
