Controller Switch

Can the ontroller of the xp be switched with another brand. Mine came DOA with a blank screen. However it does control the PAS modes so am able to ride. However I have to guess the PAS and battery level.

Contact lectric and they will be more than glad to fix the issue, their customer service is usually great.

You must mean DISPLAY? Controllers don't typically have screens...

I find it funny that it still works the PAS. So its controlling the motor. I just cant see anything.
I did email lectric but have not received an answer yet. I'll call them if I dont get a response by tomorrow.

The display does not "control" the motor. Sometimes displays have settings that are communicated to the controller, but the controller is the brain.

Lectric sent me a new controller with attached display. All good now. After speaking with Zach, he decided to send a replacement which did the job.
