Chili Verde

This beer is soooo smoothhhhh for a Triple!
I talked to the brewmaster one day..He said the secret ingredient is local basswood honey. He buys a local guys whole stock of honey to make it.
 
What's the over and under for when Tom gets in here and beeaatchs about this is not ebike related? 🤣

I'm making Cinncinnati Chili for tomorrow. Recipe calls for Cocoa!
Soooo this begs the question....do you have cocoa or are you going to ride your cargo ebike to pick some up?

I passed on the Cocoa. Instead I used a little more cinnamon! So I got Chili w Spagetti for the Bengal fans and Carne Asada and Guacamole for the Ram faithful. I will be in the kitchen with my apron on doing quality control and beverage monitoring!

Chili and Beer
It is about that for this weekend. But it is really about things that are Cool and Green. Chilly and Verdant. Chili Verde. Here is beer in the front basket of a cargo bike. The LBS loves beer.

I didn't have the Cocoa, or All Spice. I used Cinnamon and Brown Sugar. It's still fairly sweet and not hot at all. We have a guest list of attendees that do not like spicy. I would have added more Chili Powder and Cayenne...

All my friends and relatives around Cleveland call that "skyline chili", so they don't have to sully their lips by uttering the word "Cincinnati" 🤣🤣🤣.
 
Here is how things get made on Valentines. And a 'green' bike that I fixed today. It is eight years old and everything was rusted and broken. The bottom bracket had to be turned with two hands. It weighs 19.2 pounds with the front reflector and bell I added. I like the idea of recycling cycling.

Lucy, the Mexican lady who taught me to make green chili, had 19 children.(17 survivors), &
umpteen grandchildren & great grandchildren. She was a one woman population explosion, but
she knew how to cook.
