Change Display on Chinese Ebike

The OP is looking to replace the display with aftermarket one.

In my experience, there's no ebike company that would recommend, suggest or okays replacing anything with aftermarket parts.

All displays are 'after market' the motors do not come wit a proprietary display at that price point.
Bosch MAY be the only vendor with proprietary displays, perhaps Shimano.
APT makes displays for loads of bike manufactures, they get branded at the same factory with the respective Company Name

I was trying to impress upon the OP that chances are any cheap Chinese folding or otherwise, bike that retails between 1000 and 2000 buks is more than likely using a 3rd party controller and display, in his case, the display only...as he is looking to change it out.
Bosch, shimano, yamaha or Panasonic, and I don't know for certain or is my opinion ever set in stone; I'm one to just go with it and agree. Truth is I only had a small insight to the nature of what the OP was dealing with and trying to set him on the right path of research to help aid in settling in on a new display, open up his options so to speak.
