Hi. I'm trying to replace the power pack retaining lock on the down tube on my
Focus Paralane2 9.7. Bike is nearly 5 years old - done around 16,000 km.
It would seem a simple remove with only 4 small bolts - I undo these and it comes loose
but I simply cannot get it out. I have a replacement, together with a replacement plastic
plug that goes in where I assume a lock or switch might fit on the other side of the down
tube.
Looking at the replacement the original plastic plug is far more sturdy and seems to play
a part in retaining the catch.
Has anyone removed one of these lockers? If so how? I can post pictures, but not sure
what's important and what isn't
