AB-1096, the Chiu Ebike Bill, was supposed to have a 'third reading' last night, but apparently that is now set for the 24th. I assume they will pass it, but the process is slow and complex. It seems to have made people think about what they want, even if they don't want the Chiu Bill. They, uh, chewed it over, mentally.
