Has anyone taken one of the little Bulls ebike controllers apart? Mines been faulty since it got dropped, (ok, since my wife fell off and hurt herself so I swapped hers for mine), and we're on a long Europe tour. They're proving hard to get over here, Berlin has them but we're in Czech Republic now, and the next place is Prague (maybe). I discovered a workaround today, taking it off the bar and tapping it hard, and it works until the next bumpy bit if track, but that's no good for the next 2 months.
I figure there's something loose inside it, but I'm not going to try to take it apart until I definitely can't get a replacement so it will my last resort to try it. I am not looking forward to pushing bike + bags up the Swiss Alps.
