Is anyone interested or is there already a spot on the internet with a cohesive FAQ on the BBS0x models? ES has lots of threads and posts but it's all disjointed and nearly impossible to sort out without spending hours trying to weed through off topic and obtuse threads. Where could I/we start a FAQ? Including manuals, software, parts access, youtube links, and general information? Are there copywriter issues when developing a FAQ?

This would be a great addition to the forum - perhaps you could link to some of the more informational threads over at ES as well as beginning the discussion here.

Nothing about programming. Nothing about repair or routine maintenance.

I'm curious, what additional programming do the majority of users want beyond setting the speed limit, the wheel size and the number of power levels? I have two BBS02's installed and I'm pretty sure there isn't any significant preventive maintenance to be done. Make sure the fasteners and lock nut is tight....

I suspect that most manufacturers don't want the vast majority of their customers doing any significant modifications to their products and purposefully don't provide a lot of information.

I think we've seen by now that there is preventive maintenance that may need to be done. A complete lube job for instance. Also there are some programming features that can improve the performance. I didn't find it needed on my 01's and 02, but the BBSHD definitely was improved. I also now grease each ew unit. Bafang is a little lax.

This is quite old and now that Karl has started a blog and Lunacycle has a forum, many of my wishes have been granted. Except a coherent list of versions. Bafand continues to make changes and never release any version information. Great motors, frustrating maker,
