Brakes Question - 2020 Sport

My 2020 Sport will not shift from 7th to 8th gear. I have watched the videos and adjusted the limit screws and adjusted the barrel adjusters for tension. Any other ideas before I strap sporty on the rack and take him to the LBS?
The derailleur doesn't appear to be bent...

What happens when you tighten the shift cable, even pulling on it with your fingers back by the derailleur? You SHOULD see the derailleur move toward the next smaller gear (8th)......

If it's not moving towards 8th when shortened/pulling on it, you'll need to figure out why - like a limit screw miss adjustment for instance......

Thanks for the suggestions Foof and Al, I think I'm just gunna haul Sporty over to the LBS. I fiddled with cable tension and limit screws. They have beer!

Took Sport to LBS today to solve the "wont shift into 8th gear" mystery. Derailleur guard was bent in. I shoulda known. Took the tech 10 minutes. Shout out to Marlin at Palm Desert Bikes and Brews. They are an awesome shop and they serve beer!
