brake hum

hi, have a yamaha cross tour with Shimano mechanical disc brakes. sometimes I get a hum from front brake, I can see while riding, the outboard pad is on the disc rotor, is there an adjustment to make?

Yes. One easy way is to loosen the cable whilst tightening in the inner pad. Here is the official answer.
