Bosch 6A charger

Grin would need to think a lot how to cope with my main battery/Range Extender setup. Grin could not tell me anything about the number of battery charges, etc. Battery temperature?

Electric Fred, u Stop drinking from that Special 1gallon plum vodka !!!

My Satiator does display 🌡 on lithium packs , but I did the custom work on the cable , had to cut the cable from the original cheap and inferior 4A charger and solder those 3 18AWG cables to the XLR plug , so yea now i realize how the thermistor was created...thx !
:)
It did almost 3 years , 300+cycles with no issues, GRIN TECH should build an ebike, the knowledge and parts r there.

If they 3D printed in Titanium a bike to accommodate 27.5 wheels & up to 4" tyres, had a great gross vehicle weight capability of 175kg+, had many mounting points on the frames for gear, enclosed batteries & cables, integrated a decent Torque sensor into a Pinion P1.18, connected that with a Gates CDX belt to a Grin GMAC motor on the rear.
And also created a new GMAC motor for the front at about half the size off the current one, and Grin electronics naturally.
I'd be very happy! :)

We should have our own " Satiator" fan cub page or invite only thread 😉.
Don't own one, no need atm but i do recognise it as the best charger out there.
If they had a DC input Buck/Boost version for Solar charging i'd be onto it.

Perfect ebike ! I c Vanmoof V is getting huge reservations. Prob. not a grocery huler but very fast , well built and great support.
Bosch would need to adapt to the real needs and basic req. of a US car replacement asap(28-35mph maybe 38mph top speed).

btw- is this 32mph true ?? Haven't seen it advertised anywhere else.

Don't know for sure but i think the R&M's do those speeds best with a Rohloff, their other drive-trains struggle a bit maintaining those speeds i've heard.
Could be that the Rohloff does too, not sure.
Bosch's torque figures are real and no BS though,
I'm in Australia where the only legal option for an ebike is to have the motor tap out at 25km/h :(
Tried a device on my Performance Line CX and it get's up to 45-50km/h, struggling a lot with wind resistance at that speed though. My motor is not a HS version and was never designed for those speeds, but it goes fine.

The Vanmoof V looks great, probably be a whole lot of fun. Some nice design.
But to me it's a bit like the first McClaren F1 street/hyper car, it's sexy, fun & fast but it's boot/trunk was the size of a small suitcase.
And some comments in reply to that were: "Well if you can afford a McClaren F1 then you probably won't mind having the Rolls Royce tagging behind with all your luggage" :)

I like the replacement , the new T.50 and the T.33 from GMA. And an Mclaren F1 is almost 20mill.$ now, i don't c that 20x price increase hapenning with the Vanmoof V😉
