Bosch 500 w battery life

I am at 10,350km on my Trek Verve +3 and starting to consider how much reliable battery life I have left on my 500w original battery. My Purion display used to show something in the range of 65km on a freshly charged battery, but now it is trending down toward 50km At Turbo power. I need a reliable 40km for most of my daily rides. I probably know the answer, but at what point do I need to consider replacing the battery? It will be expensive.

Thanks, the battery is from July 2020. I am charging it in my garage now in temperatures around freezing, above or below but likely to get colder. Used to charge it in the house at room temperature. And yes, I am comparing summer to winter rides.

baby steps. I have 12,000 miles on mine in 2 years I may have lost a few miles but it's not really noticeable.

The dealer that you bought it from can do a diagnostic on the battery and tell you the exact health of the battery. I have 6,700 miles on my 2016 battery. But I don't ride on turbo all the time. You will certainly cut the life of the battery short by charging like you are.

Thanks for the input mates. I set up a bike service bench in the garage in the summer and began charging there. The weather is turning colder now. I will resume charging the battery in the house.

I have covered almost 18,000 miles on my Giant Road E+1 Pro which is 44 months old and the original battery is still going strong! I always keep and charge the battery indoors, its a bad idea to charge your battery in freezing temps! I would think your battery would be good for at least 5 years if you look after it!
