Bafang ultra controller swap

I replaced controller after shorting out . I reprogrammed the new controller using C961 hmi..No pedal additions and throttle works no speed reading.

Are you sure when the controller shorted it didn't take out other hardware? Display and/or speed sensor?
If you have a spare display, that's what I'd try first. You might be able to use C961 but I'm not positive. Google says yes, and I tested one on the bench and it did work.

What do you mean "no pedal additions"?
