this is all i know about the ebike and i am told its a direct drive,

If you do a google search on the model number you've given us, it's pretty clear that's a geared hub.

Where do you see it mentioned that it's a direct drive hub? If it's the copy and paste you've done above, a geared hub and a direct drive hub are both considered rear hub motors....

My vented and properly greased G062.1000.DC.
I'm running it 60v 48A max, so 3000w Peak.

This may be bit complicated answer but I`ll try to keep it short.
Is the G062.1000 motor is capable of 130nm torque? Yes!
In what circumstances? Depends which kv version you have but lets assume the ~8rpm/v 26" labeled one. Then you would need approx 100 phase amps or 25 battery amps to produce 130nm of torque at 0-6mph range. That would also mean approx 1500w controller input power. In reality 25A controller is not going to produce 100 phase amps but likely 65A or so. This means torque of ~80nm.
Topspeed with 52v and 26" fat tires and 25A controller this bike is not going to hit 35mph on level ground throttle only. The claim is not way off though. Depending on battery DC IR it could reach maybe 33mph. For any more speed more power is needed.
Topspeed using PAS (or human power) is always bit complicated. In reality the power needed to up your speed from 33 mph against air drag is almost like a wall. The motor output dropping every mph speed increase is not helping either.
I would say this bike would do 35mph with PAS (for average person). Gearing is propably quite maxed out at this speed also.
45mph is absolutely not going to happen.
I`m running high kv G062.1000 motor in similar 26x4" setup with low DC IR 60V battery and 48A max. Real topspeed in good conditions is 42-43 mph (PAS).

Not sure if there are some other versions available but these two Wheels know. 06 is faster and 6.5 is bit slower winded.

Ok cheers JTK77. Mine is RM GO62 1000w D 06. So is that good that it has faster windings?

Ok thank you JTK77. Is this a good controller?

Ok thank you JTK77. So coupled with a motor, controller, a C961 display and a 52v battery all would go well together??

Should work fine. Phase/hall sensor wiring order of course can always need adjusting (connector PIN order).

How do you keep dirt and water out of it?

Had a look at the controllers website but can not find this model, wonder if you could help on this?.
Just want to get to know about it
