I have this problem with my HD motor, ive stripped it down all the gears look fine replaced the clutch but still have the same problem .Can you help diagnosis please .

Are you wondering why the front sprocket continues to turn for a bit when you stop pedaling? If so, I can share that it's supposed to. The length of time it does this can be controlled in the setup function accessed with a laptop/cable and software.

If that's not the issue, what is?

The problem is it does that all the time,j know the motor does this but mine does it constantly unless im in lowest gear. When i change gear it does this .

Did you use that cable to make any changes, or did it start doing that on it's own?

Still pretty sketchy regarding exactly what it is you're not happy with. You've clearly seen what's going on. I haven't!

Its been working fine i use it to go to work and back 30 mile round trip .Now when i change gear it sounds like its not getting in to gear and slipping .Its worked great for six months now everytime i change gear it goes mental and sounds like its not getting into gear .

Just got off of mine. 2 thoughts. First is that there's a clutch in the cartridge/gear cluster in the rear. If it's sticking it might do what you are concerned about (maybe?) and the front sprocket may continue turning when it shouldn't be.

Second, this most recent note sounds like your rear derailleur is ALL messed up. Have you dropped the bike and maybe bent something back there? When was the last time you attempted to adjust the derailleur? Plenty of you tube videos that take you step by step.

Who sold the motor? Do you have a programming cable and Windoze OS?

I think the clutch might be in the wrong way or possibly the small bearing thats inside the axle part is mia

When the bike is on the stand the gears all work perfectly, when i put weight on the bike is when the prblem starts x

It sounds like you're missing something. Maybe it's time to have a shop take a look at it?

yes its been stripped down .New clutch all the gears look fine i think .Im not 100% on the gear the clutch rides in .Ive insulated all the cables ,I thought you could check the controller without removing the potting .

I have removed the potting and now have access to everything. What am i checking for ?.

Thanks
