Bafang CanBus Minimalist Display

So I've never been a fan of huge screens on bikes. I like a simple battery indicator and the necessary 3 buttons in the smallest package available. I am particularly fond of simple LED units like the UART DZ39 pictured below. Unfortunately my latest bike build up has a Bafang Canbus system and it seems they are fairly limited on compatible displays. I do know about the E08 unit, and while simple, its not small or well made. I am considering getting one to gut and rehouse but that's a heap of work I was not looking to take on. Any one know of something small and simple?

If you’re on Bafang CANBUS, unfortunately the really tiny UART options like the DZ39/DZ40 or SW102 aren’t going to work CAN and UART displays aren’t interchangeable.
The DP-E08.CAN is probably the closest to what you’re looking for in terms of simplicity, but I agree that the form factor/build quality could be better. Bafang does have a few newer CAN displays, but most are still much larger than the minimalist LED setup you’re after.
