I am about to purchase an Evelo Aurora Limited. They advertise the tires as being puncture resistant. I would like to know from others how good that puncture resistance is and if people have added other ways to improve that resistance.

learn how to fix a flat and carry the tools to do it. I have used liners, slime and tannus foam inserts and have gotten flats regardless. There is a lot of nasty implements on the road and thorns and rocks off road.

I mean the good puncture resistance is good but you can always still get a flat. Just make sure to carry a patch kit. You can always break down no matter if it's your motor, controller, tires, chain, belt etc so you need to be prepared. A patch kit and a small electric pump is KEY on any trip IMO.

A LBS offers a service here called “Desert Proofing”. I think it applies everywhere. They install a liner, thicker tube and tire sealant. You can do this yourself. They charge $35-$40 per tire (and perform the labor), it’s not a bad upgrade to improve the puncture resistance and give one more peace of mind. Keep in mind nothing is 100%.
