Aurora Fully Loaded on order

Well I placed an order for the Aurora fully loaded with comfort kit on May 27, 2019 and I received notification the comfort kit is on the way. Justin told me the bike should ship today or tomorrow. I will keep all posted on my progress. So far communication has been excellent.

Well my Aurora Fully Loaded arrived late yesterday. Communication and tracking info from Evelo has been excellent. Unfortunately work and rain today. I will begin unboxing this evening and try to either video or photo all stages of progression.

Okay the box was undamaged and very well constructed very heavy duty (13mm / 1/2" thick and very dense) plenty of padding inside with large vinyl pads at key box break through points. Overall nice packaging job. The only damage was to a small box containing the break peddles and front skewer however no parts were damaged. Most likely cause from the weight of bike shifting slightly inside the box.

Upon reviewing and inspecting all items from box I found a set of tools for assembly and maintenance, along with the charger and a few manuals a generic one on the bicycle and one for the control. What is not in the box is an instruction manual for assembly. No problem for me, but could be an issue for others. With taking photos and drinking one beer it took about 25 - 35 minutes to assemble.

The battery was at about 5% charge, so I plugged her in about 3 hours latter I unplugged her for the night at about 68% charge. I will finish charging this evening along with a complete check of all fasteners, spokes, tire pressure, electrical connections, lights etc.

I'm a bit surprised that they left out the assembly instructions, but you got by that quickly. FYI, if you find issues that are not covered in the manual, email them and they will send you links to videos that are not readily available on the website. That's how it was a couple years ago and I would think it is still the same.

They have been extremely responsive to emails I have sent. I did not bother sending for instructions as I know my way around bicycles. Can't wait to get out of work today and continue getting everything ready. If all goes well with this weekends testing. I will start commuting to work next week, everyday until snow flies.

Well it has been almost three weeks and all is well 22 miles yesterday morning at mostly my own power (Level 1) upon return home I still had 92% battery left. Mt. Washington in the back ground.

When I got home the distance info said 198 miles to go. On level ground I was averaging 14 mph and nothing showing for amps being used. It was a good workout indeed.
