Are all silverfish style batteries compatible

I mean, my bike is 500 watts rear hub motor with currently a 48 volt ,10.4 Ah silverfish style battery. Can I purchase any silverfish style battery as long as it is 48 volts? Are all silverfish style batteries have the same electronic connections. Do I have to take into consideration my hub motor is 500 Watts or that doesn't matter. I'm in the market for either another battery to have as a back up or a longer lasting one for more stamina on paths more than my current 10 Ah . I'm thinking as long as it is a 48 volt silverfish style battery everything should be compatible with what battery is now is on my e-bike.
