App lost ability to adjust settings

Just turned on my bike today and noticed the Specialized app while connected to my Turbo Vado 4 has lost ability to adjust security or battery settings. The app shows as connected via Bluetooth and is reading data from the bike except I just can't modify any settings as it's not even listed in the app. Anyone had this happen before? Attaching screenshots of my Specialized app. Thanks in advance.

No, I cannot.
It could be anything. For instance, reinstalling the App might help. It could be a temporary problem. It could be some unfortunate update of Specialized App. I have no idea.
I had a similar situation a couple months ago. I even cannot remember what I did at that time. I guess I uninstalled the App, "forgot" the Bluetooth pairing on the phone, then installed the App again and re-paired the Vado with the phone/App.

Unfortunately, there are some electronic gremlins we have little control over.
 
Not sure if this is the same cause, but I had this happen yesterday on my Vado 4.0 while camping in a remote location with no cell service. In addition I had powered down my Starlink Internet for the day. The app will not allow changing many settings, including security, without an Internet connection on your phone.

At least there was a brief message indicating this. It may have been on the Security settings page.

I was not impressed by that design choice. I understand requiring Internet for initial registration of the bike, but after that, hmm..
 
I had internet connection. If internet is required for full app functionality then that’s ridiculous. I finally deleted the app and reinstalled and the settings came back. There was no Specialized app update or release notes that suggested anything changed on my phone.
 
And now my app on iOS has suddenly lost the list of bikes on top left (yes I have more than one specialized eBike). Now I am stuck with connectivity to the last bike it was connected to. I’ve signed out/in, deleted the app and reinstalled but it’s made no difference. Anyone experiencing similar or have any idea re a solution?

Solved…….the app seems to have changed! When opened it shows a picture of the last bike connected and below the name, connect bike and other info. When the bike picture is showing the top left grey button to select bikes or add a new bike no longer works. BUT if you swipe up a little up to hide the picture and name so only ‘connect bike’ is showing it works again!
