Anyone see a power saving difference using a neoprene sweater on their battery in winter temperatures?

Just a follow-up question:

Is it mandatory to remove these neoprene covers when charging the battery due the charging port placement or a heat buildup issue during the charging process?

Your battery will not heat up during charging. Not by more than a few degrees anyway. The cover isn't really doing anything to be worried about.
