Any details yet about the Dash city kit?

Anybody (CurrieTech?) know yet what it's going to include, for what price and most importantly, when? I'm trying to figure out here whether I should wait for it or start gathering accessories for the Dash I'm (hopefully) soon getting.

15 views no answer, even shop owners up in here, so I doubt there is anything available. Do you want me to tape over the light sensor and meter the leads? BTW - Long Island Electric Bikes has 36 volt lamps and convertors (I assume step down).

Regarding 3rd party stuff, I found that the NR mini 220 was not lasting long enough, upgraded (on warranty when the USB connector broke, be gentle) to the 400, a better match, but I'm still find myself conserving the full bright mode for when I really need it, and so also interested in that tap. -S

Any 6v lighting system will work...

Well that spares me from breaking the multimeter out, thanks. Hhmnn, 6 volts is pretty close to 5v, USB hack anyone? -S

In this video from Interbike, at about 2:25 mark there's a 2015 Dash with a city kit attached. What's the holdup with selling them?

Oh, and it has the dutch style wheel lock too. That light is hideous, not sure I'd want anything but the power tap and my own light & fender choices.

I wonder what's the idea with that lock: it looks like it belongs to the crime free little village kit, not city kit. I had one of that type on my bike when I was 8.

Those types of locks are actually pretty nice, always there, usually a secondary lock on any good Dutch bike rental. Back on topic, I wonder if I could charge a second light, Night Rider on that 6v bus? Maybe get some tunes and speakers... Dig? Oh wait this is your thread. ;) -S

sure would like a hack on the 6v dc too have light kit wiring running a Super Nova headlight and my taillight has a daisy chain outlet on my Neo Jet would be nice to be able to tag on my after market handlebar mounted high intensity headlight or recharge my cellphone or whatever off the bike. Anybody have any ideas seems like should be pretty straight forward as I think most 5v usb should have a 1v overvoltage tolerance.

hmm, the front fenders on the set you linked are really long... I may have to consider that instead of just working up a bigger flap form my current set, which are not quite long enough in the front the keep the bottom bracket area clear. Only thing is they might not be quite wide enough for the stock tires

Pace, I was looking for fenders that would give me the best results since I live in a very rainy area of the pacific northwest. Plus, the picture might not do them justice, they are very good looking fenders that would sharpen the look of your bike if your at all interested. Everyone on this forum has different needs and wants, I just thought this would be another option since I have not seen them here.

Just pulled my Planet Bike front fender mount apart, there is an eyelet inside the plastic doohicky, bent it 90 degrees and got a stiffer mount, less parts.

Like minds Shea check this out on what I did on my Neo Jet. Nice fender set to work with, use some care and was able to get a no rattle set up and good consistent spacing. Used Planet Bike Cascadia on my Stromer, no pixs yet (unsure model bought used) , with suspension front and throttle, after I switched to Big Apples. The Stromer city kit for ST1 did not have sufficient clearance. Anyway just letting you know Paul there are some good aftermarket alternatives to waiting for the kit from Currie at least as far as the fenders go.
