I am a 66 year old woman who due to recent health issues am no longer able to ride a regular bike. My balance is very bad and I have a weak leg. I am no longer able to peddle more than a couple of hundred meters.
Someone suggested I look at buying an e-bike but this has proven to be a difficult task for me. I most definitely need stabilizer wheels - which I recently found out cannot be mounted on rear tire of a rear "hub" e-bike. Someone else suggested I buy one that has a center mount motor. (The stabilizer wheels I am considering are ez trainers - you can take a look at them on their website www.ez-trainer.com).
Both of these suggestions were made by e-bike retailers. I would really like to hear from e-bike owners - you more than anyone would know what type of e-bike, if any, would accommodate the training wheels.
Throttle bikes seem to fit the bill and I have tried 24 inch step through bikes that would definitely work.
I would greatly appreciate any information you can give me .... I am really excited about the possibility of biking again.
