Adding throttle to M400 max drive

Can you add a throttle control to m400?

According to what I read in the manual: http://www.bitbike.no/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Bafang-Max-Drive-System-User-Manual.pdf there is walk assist:




Under 6.6 there is an error code for a throttle but there is no line item in 7 that lists one in the available materials:

So I would have to say that although unusual for Bafang the M400 doesn't look like it will support throttle control

Wonder if the other middrive controller from bafang would fit in the place on

m400 so I could add throttle?​
