Well, it's only a two speed at the rear hub like a cassette and derailleur. Though it is kind of ingenious how it works, which is in an animation in a marketing video in this link: https://newatlas.com/bicycles/shift-drive-two-speed-belt-drivetrain/ .
Veer is the manufacturer, though it might not yet be a shipped product. They also make a split cogged drive belt, which I know nothing about.
 
Beautifull work, but it looks like an engineer prowess without a real customer value :)
It looks almost as big an heavy as an IGH, so you have to question the value....

The ultimate value of a belt is the single cog and an Internal Gear Box.
Making a belt change gears can only stress the belt more than normal, and two gears sounds like a pretty big limitation.
