6 magnet PAS.

I have a 1000w hub motor which I am wanting to fit on another bike, the original PAS was a 5 magnet type which fitted behind the bottom bracket lock ring, the new bike has a bottom bracket with outboard bearings & I need a PAS which will fit into the splines. I've sourced one on eBay but it has 6 magnets. My question is will it work with my controller? The controller is a KT48ZWSRL-EP03 & the new PAS is a KT-V6. I am a pensioner & a bit of a technology numpty, so treat me kindly with your replies. Any advice gratefully received. Steve

If it has the same connector with the wires in the same place, it will work.
