I'm re-shoeing my Cheetah this Spring...I'm going with a less aggressive tire. The Knobbys were OK, but I feel they're a bit overkill given my driving habits. Anyone have any suggestions and ride experience with smoother tires. Oh, and while they're off, I'm throwing in Tannus liners. Again-any comments on these? TIA !

I was looking at doing the same thing, changing out the knobbies for road tires a while back but I ride desert trails when camping and the stock tires have worked so well that I’ve decided to keep um on the bike.
I haven’t tried the “Tannus liners” but do run a boat load of green slime in both tires and have been relatively lucky with regards to flats so far….
Here’s the tire I was looking at previously:

I swapped out the OEM road tires on my Platinum Interceptor with flat resistant Schwalbe Marathon Plus. I also ride some soft trails and needed a more aggressive tread. I added Tannus armor liners and heavy duty tubes filled with Slime for additional protection. So far, no flats in almost 3000 mi.
