I have two large cruiser style bikes. They have Vee Speedster 26 X 2.8 tires. These tires are for mainly used for pavement and hardpack. I also have a new bike coming which also has the same size tires but a different brand. The Vee Speedster tires are next to impossible to find and I cannot find replacement tires for the newer bike that is coming, (Innova). I would like to find a tire that is good on pavement as well as light dirt/gravel use (no hard use). Does anyone have any recommendations for this tire size? I think I can go a tad bit smaller on the newer bike (Evelo Aurora Limited Edition). My cruisers I'm not sure about. Maybe 3".

Here's your Speedsters-

I've converted all of our city bike/cruisers (26" and 27.5") to Schwalbe Super Moto-X 2.4". Couldn't be happier. Run great with low rolling resistance at lower pressures (30psi), and the ride is awesome!

Thanks! I contacted the bike makers and was informed that the smallest I can go is 26x2.4. Those Super Moto-X tires might be the ticket.

How wide are your rims?

Super Moto's can be pretty difficult to find right now. Worth the wait if necessary.

That's getting pretty wide for 2.4" tires. To judge for yourself, have a look at this tire to rim size chart for suggested sizes....
