Been a bit of madness in Liverpool at the football trophy parade, someones driven through the crowd.
No reports of deaths, but pretty horrific.
A local man just went crackers.

Seen the video on X, he was stopped by fans and officials and told to turn around, he looked very afraid and agitated, starting turning and then just launched at the crowd, steering into them on purpose.
I dont think he went there to do this.

Memorial Day Ride...Rode a bit further today (16m) out further into the hinterlands. Quiet roads for the most part after the fast road that passes by Bobby Lloyd's farm. Halfway along I stopped a few times after hearing what I thought was a Pileated's drumming. When I stopped at the flag barn I realized what I was hearing was fifty caliber rapid fire. Probably some 30 cal too. Most likely the firing came from a shooting range a few miles further back. Last I heard ammo for the .50 caliber runs more than $5 a pop...play toys like these are why Americans don't ruin a perfectly good automobile running into crowds...

Those are the Olympics out on the peninsula to our west. The only peak from the Cascades visible from the waterfront is Mt Baker(on clear days) up to the north-northeast due to its prominence.
Yep. Saw them returning a few strays on one of my rides earlier this spring.

It's a public boat launch that is no longer maintained by the Provence of NB, but it makes an interesting foreground for pics of the river.
