So true about the cost to retrofit, if available. From what I’ve read on an EMtn Bike forum, it has been confirmed that the 1.2 motor does physically fit into the older Levo sl frame and the battery is the same. The splines are different so a new crankset would be needed. Then there’s the question of whether the older tcu would work. On the plus side, the 1.2 is said to be much quieter - still not nearly silent like the TQ motor - and have a small but noticeable torque/power increase.Yeah, I can imagine that cost. However, buying a new version of the same model, or switching brands to a Trek Domane+ will set you back
