2021 Trek Ebike Release Date and Rumors?

Trek may simply be adding a Yamaha line. Probably a good business decision for increasing their customer base.
 
I'll take a guess just for fun ; Trek will add a 700c gravel grinding commuter to their line for 2021 with a Yamaha drive .
An updated / revived CrossRip+ ?
Or maybe they just want to have some lower price point SKU’s , which going with Yamaha will allow them to offer .

I've had no end of trouble with Yamaha motors (Giant Syncsport). Granted, it's only one bike--but five motors in a year? I'd be wary until some long-term reviews come in.
 
I’ve seen a number of ‘21 model year ebikes on the Trek site now and none appear to have a Yammy motor. Even did a search of Yamaha for the entire site with 0 results. So much for that rumor.🤔

Can you advise what kind of Ebike you returned and the reason. I am currently looking at a bike made in Canada and am interested if it is the same one.
