I am considering buying a Como 3.0 that was in a accident. The front fork needs to be replaced along with the front rim. Problem is specialized has no forks for that model in stock. Can i replace this with a aftermarket front fork? It needs a new charger too and brake lever. They are asking 500 said he would take 450. Is it worth it?

Not worth it, in my opinion. There are forks that will fit it, you can likely find a charger for a reasonable price, tire + wheel is not a huge cost (maybe $150ish?). So financially it is not completely out of whack. Not knowing any specifics of the accident and seeing just that one photo, I would be concerned about the bike's integrity - esp the head tube, the main part of the frame, wiring/electronics.

Finding a used Como that is intact, in good condition should not be terribly difficult, but may take some time. I tried selling mine for $1200 w/ less than 250 miles and got no serious bites - no-one came by for a test ride. Guess what I'm saying is the price of this bike + the repairs + the unknowns is not compelling enough to jump on it when others will likely pop up for around the same all-in price you'd incur.

If it was in a vehicle accident there's no telling what stresses the frame went under. It'd be a bad day to have the frame crack while riding...

There aren't many forks that will fit the Como due to the huge headtube length. You should price out a stock Specialized fork if you want to go that route but I'd advise against riding something in a vehicle accident, IMO
